Barry Morrow brings over 25 years of experience through teaching, speaking, and serving as a confidante and mentor to business executives.
Initially pursuing a career in medicine, Barry received an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After moving to Atlanta and working in business, he attended Dallas Theological Seminary where he graduated with High Honors. At Dallas Seminary he received a Masters Degree in Semitics and Old Testament Studies, and was awarded the Jennie Solomon Award in Old Testament.
Barry’s first book, Heaven Observed: Glimpses of Transcendence in Everyday Life, was published by NavPress. In January of 2013, InterVarsity Press released his work,Yearning for More: What Our Longings Tell Us About God and Ourselves. The book explores the theme of Sehnsucht, the inconsolable longings that greet us in our daily lives as we look for happiness, meaning, and purpose in this world. Over the years he has travelled extensively internationally and had the opportunity to speak and do consulting in various cultural contexts.
He resides in Roswell, Georgia. He enjoys movies, reading, playing golf, and is passionate about baseball. Occasionally he can be found exploring the haunts of C.S. Lewis and his Inklings companions at the Eagle and Child Pub on St. Giles when he can make his way to Oxford, England.
